We called them to diagnose and repair our LG fridge. They put in two bad compressors and charged us almost $1600 and never completed the repair. They get you to sign a receipt when you pay and then they say they 'provided the service', which is a crock of crap.

08/13/2024. A technician arrived on time But He came into my home with his tablet and fiddled around with it for 20 minutes he pulled the fridge away from the wall he removed a plate from the units lower back side sat there then put the plate back in placed then he came around the front and pushed back in place then opened the door looked at the filter in place closed the filter door and then closed the fridge door and told me it needs a new water filter which he did not one with him and told me to go to the Home Depot and buy one and replace the filter and that would fix the problem.
Which it did nothing.
The filter was changed 4 month prior so today I called and tried to get someone to come and fix the problem. More to the story but I think you get the pictur I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THESE CLOWN TO ANY ONS!!!

Hateful experience
Ice maker issue. Tech arrives replaces entire mech/electronics.
Says its working. Charges $550. Replaced part not the problem! Leaves.
Doesnt work! Call. Tech comes back. Same deal.
Doesnt work! Call angry. New tech arrives. Solved: issue: two broken wires.
Company cares less. Drop dead!
Two years prior with broiler issue on range. Tech arrives.
He says: it takes one hour for a broiler to come up to heat! Idiot

My ice maker broke and they replaced it. However, the new one didn't work for nearly a month.
During that time, they made six visits (at no extra charge) trying to fix it.
Finally, they suggested we unplug the refrigerator for 36 hours and happily that worked. I highly recommend this service because of their determination to make things right.

Ridiculous franchise owner experience
DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE ON YOUR PROPERTY. I contacted this company and they sent a technician to work on my machine.
After the tech worked on my machine, he told me he couldn't fix it and needed to bring an 'older' technician back to my home at another time to service my machine, but the price would still be $230, as agreed upon before they came on to my property and into my home.
After the technician left, the 'Owner' called me, and said that he'd need to double the price for them to come back and fix my washer. This is after they'd already come and laid their hands on my washer.
He said this was ok because they hadn't charged me anything, yet.
I explained how unacceptable that was, and that I should be charged what we agreed upon before his technician touched my washer. Now I have a taken apart washer in my floor, with parts everywhere, with no ability to get it put back together.
DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE ON TO YOUR PROPERTY!

So far, they are still dishonest liarsStill trying to get the entire $510 for something that did not even need repaired
Quintin, the owner of the company came out and did not even pull the refrigerator out and said oh you need a new Compressor fan. It was going to be $510 total. Not knowing any better arrives like well. OK.
He said they would be back on November 2 to replace the part
The next morning when my entire kitchen floor was hot I knew it was not the refrigerator. I called them at 9:30 AM on November 1 to cancel the service scheduled for 3 oclock on November 2.
Turns out, I had a broken hot water pipe under the concrete slab in my kitchen floor, which is why it was hot. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the refrigerator. Nothing nothing nothing
I want They must be in desperate need of business.
When I called to cancel, I was told that I would still have to pay for the part, I mean who needs a Samsung compressor fan sitting around the garage.
So unethically again, the following week they had one of their people drop the part off at my front porch along with a check for $129 for a refund for what would have been the service fee for the installation
Included with that were there, cancellation terms, and conditions.
Their cancellation policy was to let them know 24 hours ahead of time if you needed to cancel, and you could potentially be charged for restocking fee for the part.
No doubt, I owed $129 for the initial consultation, I would have paid the restocking fee.
But I am not gonna pay for a part that I dont need for somebody that lied about the service
So I filed a dispute with a credit card company, explaining what happened, and that I was more than happy to pay for the $129 service fee
Of course, Mr. appliance disputed that. I have a pile of photographic evidence of where I returned the part to them, I wrote void across the check and sent it back to them.
Yet they still got the credit card company to give them the entire $510. I mean what happened to $129 check that they tried to give back to me that i voided.
Thats dishonesty right there
These people are sadly pathetic.
Please dont call them for anything, and if you were thinking about it, read all of the reviews from every place you can find.
So far, I gave them the Google review, the yelp review, this review, I filed suit with a Better Business Bureau today and tomorrow I will be heading, heading to the courthouse To file a small claims court.
Trust me, its not because Im busy and I dont have anything else to do. But its just the ethics involved with this.

Charges me a lot of money and didn’t fix the problem
I was charged a lot of money by Mr Appliance to fix a problem with my Viking stove. The technician came to my home a few times to try and fix the problem with the stove that he charged me for but to this day has not fixed the problem. I need Mr Appliance to refund the money for the service we requested last February 2023 or fix the problem without trying to guess on what part to repair on the stove.

Friday replaced freezer lites n never turned refridge bk on/I’ve melted all over food melted office call now n said cause I had leave n he hurried no apology blamed me rude not using again!
I had fr appt from recent surgery n am 80 yrs old, told I am issuing complaint n response was u already did/just not very nice curt. Least could apologized.
Ice maker slowly making ice but if doesnt work properly I want service for it b checked no service fee! Poor customer service.
Realize a mistake but serviceman is experienced n least could offer apology or some kind credit. Paid $369 for service.

Told me my LG refrigerator had a bad thermal sencor in the top and it would cost over $750.00 and the part wasn't available. I called LG sent service tech out replaced compressor works fine.
Called Mr Appliance they said tech is qualified and won't refund service call. Will never use them again Kentwood Michigan.

I have used Mr Appliance in the past for a few things, and they were always good at their job, reliable, and prompt. Andrew the tech came in the time frame that was given to me, very polite, and very professional.
cost was reasonable, considering the cost of a new stove. Mr appliance has done work for me in the past, and if i need a tech, i will call them again, Thanks for all the good work, the whole team is great thanks again.i

It started great & then it took a nose dive. They had to make a second trip to hook something up that the 1st guy forgot to do.
Over 8 weeks of calling Mr Appliance, no answer or return of calls.
We have soot on our food, the oven is covered with soot & we're finding it throughout the house. That's not even including the smell.
This is a health hazard. The corporate office hasn't returned any of my calls.
User's recommendation: DON'T USE THEM!!! In the following photos, you can see the soot on the food & how thick it is in the oven. Think what's getting into our lungs...

On the "trouble reported" statement in the invoice he listed a number of things that would be necessary to fix the machine including the part replacements adding up to an amount around $1000. Which was a discouragement for us to decide on spending the money actually fixing the machine.
The invoice for his visit was almost $200. And he nether repaired the appliance, nether intended to repair it. I just opened the machine myself to see if I can repair it before I throw it out, and found out the part causing the problem only needed a cleanup. I wanted to check how much could have cost to replace the part (not including labor of course) and the price is $180.
NOT NEARLY the $1000 approximate for parts included in his report. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

I had a terrible experience with Mr. Appliance of Columbus (614-524-****) for what should have been a straightforward dishwasher repair.
The saga started when my dishwasher malfunctioned in early June 2023. I contacted Mr. Appliance to schedule a service appointment.
The first technician came on June 13th and determined that the motor needed replacement, which was approved. He returned on June 19th to install the motor, but then realized a chopper assembly also needed replacement, which was ordered at no cost.
However, the technician warned that the heating element was failing too, so I approved replacement of that part for $153.59.
Then nothing happened for weeks because the heating element was backordered. I insisted the technician at least install the motor so I could use the dishwasher, but on his next visit he said he couldn't detach the old water hose due to oxidation, something he could have checked earlier. On the next visit, the technician didn't have the new water hose needed. Throughout this, the technician's car broke down twice causing more delays.
On the sixth attempt, the technician couldn't even get the motor in, so two other technicians were sent later but still no progress.
After months of delays, mixups and frustration, I asked for a refund on the heating element since it was never installed, but the company refused. The owner finally agreed to send technicians on September 14th to complete everything, but they were no shows. I have called the owner multiple times since then with no response.
This has been the most unprofessional and incompetent repair experience imaginable. I strongly advise avoiding this dishonest company for any appliance repairs.
