I am appalled at how this company is run! I had a repairman come to my home. I am almost 70 with very serious health issues. I expected them to be a professional company and wear their PPE while here and they DO NOT! The customer has to ask! He did put it on when I asked him why he is not wearing any and that is what I was told. I have gone nowhere since March and now thanks to their uncaring attitude about their employees and customers I have to go get tested and pray I don't have it! I did call the owner as it always stems from the top and let him know. Again, I am appalled and will never use them again. Of course, while here he touched three of my appliances all over, counter tops, doorknobs and whatever else and I had to clean up afterwards! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

This complaint I filed on Jan 20, 2019 said it was a 500.00 cost to repair No, no, no. I had a professional floor man come out, and he said they would have to do blah, blah, to get the scratches out. Like rip out the wooden floor part that was damaged and put new wood and sand and make rest of floor to where it matched. The professional even said to make floor look like it did before, we would need to work on this area from the kitchen to the family room. So, to get my floor like before was going to take nearly redoing whole kitchen floor. I said no I can't afford that. Just to fix the damaged area going to cost me 2.500.00 if I want it done responsibly and professionally. The receptionist I had been talking to tried to say none of it was technician fault so, I sent pictures. She said floor was damaged before. I said I am not talking about repairing the floor that got water damage. The refrigerator had been serviced 2 times before by Mr. Appliance. Obviously, it was never fixed properly She couldn't deny the pictures and I told her I had a witness that saw him pull out the refrigerator and put it back. It was never on a dolly. I even pointed out the scratches it had left to technician. He muttered something, and got out of there fast. I have not been able to fix my floor. Eventually, I will, I hope.

I called Mr. Appliance in Jax FL to look at a GE Monogram side by side frig/freezer that was not cooling properly and the tech diagnosed the problem as a bad control board. He then said it was going to be a $1200 expense because of the part cost and extended labor to replace it. I called GE, and they showed up today and replaced the part and installed it in 20 mins and the total bill was &;;;;;;;; less than $500.00! What a joke that Mr. Appliance would try to execute such a sham by wanting to charge me over double what GE fixed it Will Never calll Mr. Appliance again.

I had very nice serviceman show up. Told him I had water coming out the front every few days. He says the automatic defroster drain line is plugged. Now the service charge to tell me that was 128.00 For him to unplug the line the charge would be 258.00 He could have told me where the line was for the 128.00 and how to self service. After about a total of 10 min in my house he had the 128.00 and left. 258.00 to unplug the drain was crazy. I still have the issue and am

Dent to Oven Door

Mr Appliance - Dent to Oven Door
Mr Appliance - Dent to Oven Door - Image 2

My appliance is a GE Microwave Wall Oven Combo.

Mr Appliance was contracted by American Home Shield to repair my microwave light and to check cooking temperature (nothing was wrong with my oven). After removing racks and oven door they pulling out my wall oven to change the microwave light bulb.

It took two men to do the job, and several hours.

After putting everything back I noticed a dent that was not there and mentioned it to the repair person. He said to call the office and report it. I made the report to Sandra and she asked for a picture.

After she received the picture she said she would talk to her husband on how handle the problem and call me back. After a couple weeks I called her to check on the status.

Sandra then said that since I made a report to AHS she thought it was the end of it all and they didnt need to do anything more.

I told her they are responsible. She then said she'll make a report to the coorprate office and get back to me.

After AHS spoke to Sandy again about the dent, she then said they didn't dent my oven door and that they had proof. AHS tried calling Mr Appliance again and they never answered the phone.

The cost of a new oven door will cost me approx. $300.00

Mr Appliance totally ripped us off charging $460.00 to replace 4 roller bearings that cost $6.83 each = $27.32 in parts. Basically charging $432.00 for 30 minutes labor.

When I called them to complain and ask for a discount as we are retired and living on a fixed income they told me that was the price, so sorry.

I was flabbergasted at their brassiness and told them I would be leaving a bad review. Their manager said “that’s the cost of doing business” Stay away from these ripoffs

RIP OFF BEWARE

I wasn't charged $99 service call. However, I was charged $189 for diagnostics test. Samsung dishwasher had a blinking light. Service man thought it was leaking because of this. $700 to repair it is more then it was worth! So $201 for them to tell me it wasn't worth fixing! How can a reputable company charge so much money for 5 min of their time and think that that is fair and decent thing to do?

Never use MR. Appliance for any type of repairs!

On Wednesday, 01/29/20, MR. Appliance charged us $213 for supposedly repairing our dryer.

The technician ran the dryer for 5 minutes and told us that our dryer is working and it is repaired. The next day when we try to use it, THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED. We called MR. Appliance and explained to them that we are having the same problem with the dryer.

The technician showed up the following Monday, and after few hours he said the problem is something else. They wanted $200 more to fix the problem, which we refused.

We feel we were rubbed for not only $200, for Do not use Dour time and aggravation as well. I called the owner asking for my $200, she kept saying that the technician ran the dryer and it worked, I explained to her that their technician should have run the dryer for a full cycle and not just 5 for minutes, and she hanged up the phone and said to call back.

I do not recommend these outfit to anyone.

I will try to contact the franchise headquarter if not anything just to let them know.

Needed the convection motor repaired on my LG on December 2019 the Thursday before Christmas. I am not a technician, but I did google and sort of knew what the problem would be. The tech was as dumb as two toads put together. Told me that the oven used only the broiler to heat and the fan would just stir the air if I was not using the convection. This, while I am looking at the back of the oven glowing red and hot. Did not have the part. Will be back on the Monday prior to Christmas. Waited and waited....No call no show. Then suddenly yesterday, alas and email! They are coming tomorrow morning to do the repair. NOT. Fixing it myself.

tech called out twice for same issue; both times, tech pushed start button on dryer...that's it! NO other diagnostics done, tech said he had never heard of the issue I was having (despite the fact that google showed over 10 pages of hits with answers to the same problem) and decided since he didn't know what to do, that there was no issue...told me that he would recommend to the prop mgt company to replace dryer, BUT told prop mgt company that there was no issue...tech was both incompetent and dishonest, and charged $100 per service call...and I still have a broken dryer. I called out another, more reputable company that took apart the dryer and found the issue within 10 minutes....and only charged $55...Mr Appliance is a rip off and a scam company

I ended up going to Sears for my oven problem. Their service charge was less expensive than Mr.

Appliance and they showed up on time and was very pleasant.

I will recommend them to my customers from now on.I never ever heard back from Mr. Appliance, nor do I expect them to call either.

They schedule your appointment times when they want and when you call to tell him that's not going to work they don't return their phone calls. Then they just expect you to be at the home when they show up 10 hours later.. Very unprofessional people, I'm a realtor and I watch homes for a living. I would never ever ever recommend this company to any of my customers ever again.. Horrible company don't trust them one bit..

Absolute disaster - do not trust. Just look at any moderated review website (yelp, google, etc.) and you can see the overwhelming bad reviews - only place they have good reviews are on their own website.

Total pain to deal with and schedule.

I wanted to have them come in and do general maintenance on five appliances, which would have been close to $1,000 in fees, so not a "small job". Still, they were unresponsive and difficult to schedule.

First appointment: had a set day and time for almost two weeks, but the night before they were supposed to come, after I had already cleared out my work schedule to be able to stay home to meet them, I get an email that says they don't have a technician and have to cancel the appointment. Not able to reschedule for another couple of weeks. Wasted my day

Second appointment: same story - scheduled an appointment over a week in advance.

Cleared my work schedule to be able to be home. Night before the appointment I get five distinct time slots over a 6 hour period during which I should be prepared for them to arrive (one for each appliance...figure that one out). They showed up 40 minutes early, didn't call me (they had incorrectly entered my phone number in to their system , which I had sent them via email), and then left before the time they said they would be there. I called 2 minutes after I realized they were outside (to tell them I was home), which was 2 minutes in to the earliest appointment time, and the tech was already gone and they would not send someone back.

I spent 30 minutes on the phone with a "manager" and only after I lost it did they apologize or take any ownership that they screwed up, even then they still blamed me.

How do you trust someone in your home who runs a business like this.

Stay clear. I'd love to have this conversation with the owner, because I would think they would want to know and I am a business owner as well, but judging by reviews they clearly don't care.

I had my refrigerator repaired by My Appliance at the beginning of the summer. Three months later the refrigerator started having the same problems and when I tried contacting the company I found out the local shop had closed. The next closest Mr Appliance is 3 hours away so I was told by the corporate office there wasn't anything they could do. Now I can't get anyone to return my calls or respond to a letter I sent to the corporate office.
