So far, they are still dishonest liarsStill trying to get the entire $510 for something that did not even need repaired
Quintin, the owner of the company came out and did not even pull the refrigerator out and said oh you need a new Compressor fan. It was going to be $510 total. Not knowing any better arrives like well. OK.
He said they would be back on November 2 to replace the part
The next morning when my entire kitchen floor was hot I knew it was not the refrigerator. I called them at 9:30 AM on November 1 to cancel the service scheduled for 3 oclock on November 2.
Turns out, I had a broken hot water pipe under the concrete slab in my kitchen floor, which is why it was hot. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the refrigerator. Nothing nothing nothing
I want They must be in desperate need of business.
When I called to cancel, I was told that I would still have to pay for the part, I mean who needs a Samsung compressor fan sitting around the garage.
So unethically again, the following week they had one of their people drop the part off at my front porch along with a check for $129 for a refund for what would have been the service fee for the installation
Included with that were there, cancellation terms, and conditions.
Their cancellation policy was to let them know 24 hours ahead of time if you needed to cancel, and you could potentially be charged for restocking fee for the part.
No doubt, I owed $129 for the initial consultation, I would have paid the restocking fee.
But I am not gonna pay for a part that I dont need for somebody that lied about the service
So I filed a dispute with a credit card company, explaining what happened, and that I was more than happy to pay for the $129 service fee
Of course, Mr. appliance disputed that. I have a pile of photographic evidence of where I returned the part to them, I wrote void across the check and sent it back to them.
Yet they still got the credit card company to give them the entire $510. I mean what happened to $129 check that they tried to give back to me that i voided.
Thats dishonesty right there
These people are sadly pathetic.
Please dont call them for anything, and if you were thinking about it, read all of the reviews from every place you can find.
So far, I gave them the Google review, the yelp review, this review, I filed suit with a Better Business Bureau today and tomorrow I will be heading, heading to the courthouse To file a small claims court.
Trust me, its not because Im busy and I dont have anything else to do. But its just the ethics involved with this.

On the "trouble reported" statement in the invoice he listed a number of things that would be necessary to fix the machine including the part replacements adding up to an amount around $1000. Which was a discouragement for us to decide on spending the money actually fixing the machine.
The invoice for his visit was almost $200. And he nether repaired the appliance, nether intended to repair it. I just opened the machine myself to see if I can repair it before I throw it out, and found out the part causing the problem only needed a cleanup. I wanted to check how much could have cost to replace the part (not including labor of course) and the price is $180.
NOT NEARLY the $1000 approximate for parts included in his report. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

I had a terrible experience with Mr. Appliance of Columbus (614-524-****) for what should have been a straightforward dishwasher repair.
The saga started when my dishwasher malfunctioned in early June 2023. I contacted Mr. Appliance to schedule a service appointment.
The first technician came on June 13th and determined that the motor needed replacement, which was approved. He returned on June 19th to install the motor, but then realized a chopper assembly also needed replacement, which was ordered at no cost.
However, the technician warned that the heating element was failing too, so I approved replacement of that part for $153.59.
Then nothing happened for weeks because the heating element was backordered. I insisted the technician at least install the motor so I could use the dishwasher, but on his next visit he said he couldn't detach the old water hose due to oxidation, something he could have checked earlier. On the next visit, the technician didn't have the new water hose needed. Throughout this, the technician's car broke down twice causing more delays.
On the sixth attempt, the technician couldn't even get the motor in, so two other technicians were sent later but still no progress.
After months of delays, mixups and frustration, I asked for a refund on the heating element since it was never installed, but the company refused. The owner finally agreed to send technicians on September 14th to complete everything, but they were no shows. I have called the owner multiple times since then with no response.
This has been the most unprofessional and incompetent repair experience imaginable. I strongly advise avoiding this dishonest company for any appliance repairs.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. Here is the list of their failings.
1 .
The quote they gave for a part for my Bosh washing machine to my insurance was $200 over the price the Bosch website was selling it as.
2. They sent a technician to my house three times who had no clue what needed to be done and left three times without fixing the machine.
3. The fourth time they sent a person, they called an expert who failed to fix the machine completely.
4.
They didn't answer my complaint when I complained to them.
Now, I am left with a broken washing machine after paying $1000.
I would never, ever, recommend this company. In fact, I recommend you avoid them like the plague.

Time Line of Events:
6/19/23: $363.09 paid to repair refrigerator; diagnosed as fan & thermostat. Parts ordered 6/23/23: Returned & Installed parts
6/30/23: Returned again because still not working; diagnosed as heating element.
Parts ordered
7/10/23: Returned & installed heating element 7/17//23: Called again because still not working
7/28/23: Returned again and diagnosed as compressor. Paid $207.65 for Freon & part ordered Part arrived and sat at house for 3weeks with me calling & leaving messages to get scheduled. No response
9/2/23, 9/5/23 & 9/7/23: texted technician because no on calling me back. He finally got someone to schedule again
9/15/23: Came to house to replace but the compressor was bent when they opened box so had to reorder again
9/29/23: Came to house again to installed but after disconnecting old compressor and making a mess in my house was told it was the wrong one and they would need to order again
10/6/23: Visit was cancelled because the compressor had not arrived.
10/9/23-10/12/23: called daily to let them know compressor was here and no one answered or called me back
10/12/23: Someone finally answered when i called from a phone NOT listed to me and she said they would get me scheduled and call me back.
No one ever called back
10/13/23: Compressor came and the order date on the box was 10/12.
10/16/23-10/25/23: calling daily no answer, leave messages no replies, schedule on website no communication, called corporate no answer.
I just want my money back so I can buy another refrigerator at this point.
This is absolute worst company i have ever dealt with and will never ever use them again. And i will make sure everyone i know does not either.
If I could give zero stars I would

1. Dishwasher is not working.
2.They came and diagnosed the problem (door latch doesn't work, so sensor doesn't get triggered), but cannot fix it.
3.They charged me $137.8 for "coming and finding the problem".
So...next time when you have a problem with your appliances, think twice before you hire this company, as you could be just like me, paying them only for finding the problem, not for fixing it.

P.S.: One more thing before you decide to hire them - check them out at BBB site (search for Mr. Appliance BBB review) and get ready to be amazed by how many negative reviews they got - spoiler alert: their average review is one-star.)

Terrible experience. I have a refrigerator which was not working well.
Rather than going through the entire saga, Mr. Appliance has been out more than 5 times to fix this issue. Each time they have never ran a diagnostic, tested circuits or reviewed connections. What they have done each time is called the manufacturer, described the issue, and then waited for the manufacturer to diagnose the problem.
The second to the last time, the technician decided it was a defrost coil. He replaced this part. Once he did both icemakers stopped working. The last time a technician came out, he decided the unit was in demonstration mode.
He did something, called it a day. The icemakers still don't work. During this process, Mr. Appliances corporate office sent me a questionnaire.
I responded accurately. I received a communication from the office manager, Vicki. Vicki began to berate me for the review. At no time did she say "sorry or seem to accept any responsibility in any way.
She just spoke down to me and was extremely rude and disrespectful suggesting I did something wrong. At this point I will buy a new appliance before I use these people again.
